Verisure in safe hands with Guidion

Verisure, a global player in security systems, is entering a rapidly growing market. More and more private individuals are having their homes secured via the international player. This growth is particularly noticeable in the Netherlands. Securing the home is in a clear growth market.

A growth market often comes with new challenges. For example, it appears to be a challenge to recruit and retain technical employees. A flexible shell can therefore offer a solution. More and more customers know where to find Verisure. Verisure often manages to convert this into selling a security system. However, only then does the process begin. Selling a system is one thing, but installing systems and maintaining customers is two. And electrically, things still change sometimes, so it can happen that a system is no longer up to date.

After sale, it must be installed

After a sale has been realized, a technician comes by to install everything at the customer's place. Verisure itself employs 50 permanent technicians who carry out this installation. These initial installations are done by the permanent technicians. However, these do not make it possible to also make service-oriented visits. Extra technicians are hardly to be found. Now, Verisure can choose to sell less. Were it not for the fact that this is never actually a solution for growing companies. Even though the Field Service department is not growing proportionally. That is why it was decided to work with Guidion so that sales can continue at full speed. And there won't be too much pressure on current mechanics.

The maintenance process

Since October 2023, Guidion has come into contact with Verisure and 2 months later, the first engineers selected by Guidion were already on the way. Before they hit the road independently, they completed a training course. A pilot with 6 technicians started and now there are already 30 mechanics hitting the road based on 2 different tickets:
1. Preventive maintenance. A check to see if everything is still working properly.
2. The system sometimes states itself that it needs an upgrade. Or the resident can indicate this himself.

In 4 months, Guidion's number of rides have almost tripled. There were still around 800 in February, but more than 2000 in May, and so Verisure's security systems are also in safe hands via Guidion.

As a company, do you also run into the fact that a lack of technicians is hampering growth? Please contact Guidion. In addition to technicians, we can also support effective planning and data to optimize trips.
