Connect an Odido modem
This article explains how Odido Zyxel T-50, Zyxel T-54 and Zyxel T-56 modems can be connected by yourself. It also explains how to own modem you can continue to use. Of course, it is also the case that a new Odido modem is powered by a Guidion mechanic being installed!
Installing the Zyxel T-50, T-54, and T-56 modem
You can easily connect the Zyxel T-50, T-54 or T-56 modems using the details below. On the day of connecting, you will receive a text message from Odido that this is possible.
Needed: Odido installation package with Zyxel T-50/T-54/T-56 modem, My Odido details, installation date and TV login details.
We recommend starting with the internet. To do this, you need your login details and email.
Step-by-step plan: 1) connect the modem, 2) switch on the modem, 3) connect the computer, 4) connect the phone, 5) LAN 1-4: light is on when at least 1 ethernet cable is connected, 6) telephony: lights green when telephony is active, 7) WLAN: lights when WiFi is on, 8) if all other lights are on, the modem has an internet connection. 9) WiFi can be switched on or off by pressing the button on the back of the modem, 10) network name (SSID) & WPA (Wireless Key) key: code connects wirelessly to modem; internet connection.
From Odido, it is now the case that all new installations are carried out with a Zyxel T-56 modem as standard. This is due to a faster connection. If, as an old Odido customer, you still have a Zyxel T-50 or T-54 modem and notice that you are experiencing problems with your connection, it may be useful to contact Odido for this. Odido can then order us to send a technician to do a modem swap.
Keep using your own modem
Of course, it is also possible to continue using your own modem with an Odido subscription, if it meets a number of requirements. This, together with a short step-by-step plan for connecting, you can here find (on the Odido website).
